ST. LOUIS – A man is dead after a vehicle flipped in front of a home Wednesday night.
Police say three men were standing in front of the home when a dark-colored Chevrolet Impala traveled west, hit a fire hydrant, hit an embankment, and flipped upside down, landing on a 58-year-old man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two men were able to jump up onto the porch.
Two people inside the Impala ran from the scene.
Police tell us the 58-year-old victim did not live at the residence on Enright, but did live in the area.
Accident reconstruction crews continue to investigate.
