New TV series starting last night. Haven't watched it yet.

I also have no pics, promo vids, text......I got jack :|

Looks cool tho

It's about the days leading up to Hiroshima, kind of a Mad Men vibe featuring the scientists and their families.

Manhattan (9 p.m., WGN America): This gripping and provocative new drama series is set in Los Alamos, New Mexico, against the backdrop of the clandestine mission to build the world's first atomic bomb. John Benjamin Hickey shines as a self-destructive physics professor who is recruited to help lead the Manhattan Project and finds himself living in a world where secrets and lies infiltrate all aspects of everyday life.

I'm still haunted by John Cusack's scene in the hospital with radiation poisoning from the Fatman and Little Boy film... and I love that flick.

What's up with WGN coming up with original series nowadays?

:-k

I like one of the insider stories....I guess with the actual crew of scientists they only told males what they were really working on. You could be an educated, smart dame working on the project and they never would tell you the truth.
