Last Thursday, 54 year old Lynette Rae Sampson called the police. She was worried that her meth was laced with something and wanted to report it. According to the affidavit, a police officer responded to the call and went to her house.

When Enid Police Department Officer Aaron Barber arrived at her home she told him, “I’m glad you came.” Sampson then invited the officer in and told him that she had meth in a tin container in the kitchen and that she though it was laced with something.

Officer Barber asked Sampson to show him the tin and she did. Inside he found a light bulb used to smoke meth and two small bags that contained the drug. The bags weighed .2 and .3 grams. Sampson then walked into her living room, sat down and began to sweat and hallucinate. She told the officer that she had recently smoked meth and asked not to be arrested. She was arrested.

EPD Capt. Jack Morris said, “Once you think you’ve seen it all, something new will surprise you. It’s sad people who utilize these drugs don’t realize how it effects them, and what they can do to you.”
