A man who was naked and masturbating outside an apartment building was tackled by a resident after the man ran away and jumped into a lake, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they got a call just after 1 a.m. on Monday from a resident of the Colony Club Drive apartments in West Boynton about a man masturbating outside her window. She said the man has been to the complex many times naked and masturbating, but runs away when she tells him she's calling police, deputies said.
This time, however, her friend chased down the man and detained him until deputies got to the scene. They found Jeff Saintil, 25, naked on the ground being subdued by a man — the caller's friend.
The man told deputies he went up to Saintil and told him that he needed to stop masturbating outside, according to an arrest report. When Saintil took off, he followed him as he jumped into a lake and tackled him after he got out.
Saintil is charged with indecent exposure, simple assault and resisting an officer. He was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday.
