Pop culture and Internet slang are becoming more official, as confirmed by Oxford's editors this week.

Oxford Dictionaries, the arm of the Oxford family that focuses on current English, announced their latest batch of words Wednesday to be officially added to the ranks. And really, it's amazeballs.

Among the new words: acquihire, amazeballs, binge-watch, bro hug, clickbait, cray (as in cray cray), douchebaggery, FML, hot mess, humblebrag, mansplain, side boob, side-eye, SMH, subtweet, vape, YOLO and zonkey.

Now before you throw your hands up in the air or threaten a bro hug, recognize that this is not the official Oxford English Dictionary. ICYMI, that part of the family requires words to have more historical, significant impact before officially adding them. In other words, don't humblebrag until you've been around a bit longer. Below is a selection of more words going into this update:

We should be like the French and say "piss off" when new words are being let in. "Use the existing words!" :)

I'm all for the evolution of language, but words like amazeballs, cray and doncha make me feel like we're regressing rather than improving
