Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militants have captured and executed 250 Syrian soldiers, according to a new disturbing video.
The footage, which has not been verified and is too graphic to be published in full, shows dozens of men being marched through the desert stripped down to nothing but their underwear before it fades to black.
The video resumes with a pile of executed men stacked on top of each other, the Daily Mail reports.
It was posted on to YouTube on Thursday and the mass killing was confirmed by an Islamic State fighter.
The video shows the men walking single file with their hands behind their backs. Before they were killed, an ISIS fighter chants “Islamic State,” to which the men reply, “It shall remain.”

The caption to the video said the dead totaled 250. An ISIS fighter told Reuters: “Yes we have executed them all.”
According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the death toll tops 120.
ISIS seized the Tabqa airbase, 25 miles from their Syrian stronghold in Raqqa, on Sunday after a week-long battle with the Syrian army. The terrorist group claimed the men in the video were from the same base.

ISIS controls about a third of Syria, mostly parts in the north and east of the country. The radical terrorist group plans to set up a trans-border leader in the Iraqi and Syrian territory they have taken.
The United States has carried out airstrikes on Islamic State in Iraq and is planning on doing the same in Syria.
The mass killing follows a week after the execution of photojournalist James Foley was posted online, which was released as President Barack Obama ordered U.S. airstrikes against ISIS militants.
At least three other Americans are being held captive by the group, including journalist Steven Sotloff and an unidentified woman who was doing humanitarian aid work in Syria. ISIS is now demanding $6.6 million for the release of the aid worker, CBS News reports.
