...in a few threads and quite like the look of this place, so I'm going to hang around for a wee bit and see how it goes.

My name is Simon and I'm from Fife in Scotland, I'm into game shooting and am currently training my first gun-dog (and feckin hard work it is too!) His name is Sid and here he is too,

Anything that has Sky,Sky,Sky,Sky. That is Sky above, left, right and most important below! Mostly Pheasant, partridge, snipe, duck, geese. We go for vermin too in rabbit, hare and fox and the odd monkjack deer if they're close enough.

Sid's a pure Springer looks like Tony is too? My Dad is in Leven just behind Letham Glen and I'm there quite a lot. Right now I'm down south of Oxford in England for work, I'm an electrician so with the building trade just beginning to pick up I go where I can. I remember holidaying in the Crieff Hydro and going to Perth, lovely place. Also spent a lot of time at Lochearn which is not too far away, gorgeous neck of the woods apart from the feckin midges in summer!!!!!

Yeah, Tony's a springer, big bastard he is too (for a springer). I've seen a couple of others from his litter and he's by far the biggest  Strangely enough my cousin's a sparky too, not sure who he works for though! I've played the golf course at Crieff Hydro a few times but never actually been inside the hotel  Cracking views out that way right enough (Lochearnhead)

What Townies fail to realise is the damage foxes and their litters do in the rural areas. (I apologise to you if you are not a townie btw) I have several friends that have lost their entire chicken coops to a single visit by Charlie, not to mention lambing season. All of the farmers who give me permission to vermin shoot their land for hare, rabbit and pigeon only allow it if I shoot (or at least try) any fox I see. They breed quite prolifically.

There's a couple "sparkys" here on the board. I'm pretty much one as well. Have an ASEE but have worked as an elect tech for the last 21 years. (Last 10 or so in the oil patch) don't listen to Hal, he's convinced (due to some of my travels) the I'm CIA. Lol
Oh btw, welcome to the joint
