Sean Shaynak, a 44-year-old math and science teacher at the prestigious Brooklyn Tech High School was arraigned on 36 charges yesterday stemming from allegations that he carried on sexual relationships with seven female students from 2011-2014.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges, which include "sexual abuse, forcible touching, kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and disseminating indecent material." He was charged based on evidence investigators found on three computers and two phones. The list of his alleged crimes is so long and ridiculous, we'll just bullet it here:


He "groomed" students for sex and "would routinely give [one 18-year-old] 100s in his class even though she turned in work with no answers," according to the prosecutor, Joseph Mancino
He allegedly forced sex on that 18-year-old against her will
He allegedly carried on a four month sexual relationship with another teen and brought her "to a sex club out of state, where he performed sex acts on other people and other people performed sex acts on him"
He also allegedly took that teen on a "terror ride" from Queens to Brooklyn, where she "became so frightened that she ran from the car and hid from Shaynak in some nearby bushes while he was screaming and banging on the car"
He allegedly took a 15-year-old to a nude beach in New Jersey and gave her "Jack Daniel's and tequila to the point where she passed out" at his house
He allegedly sent dick pics to four girls, including two minors
He allegedly touched and kissed minors

Oh, and investigators found a ton of bestiality porn involving dogs, horses, and goats on his computer.

It seems Brooklyn Tech was totally unaware of Shaynak's actions until one student reported that he sent her a dick pic via Snapchat in August. He was removed from his position, where he was making just over $50,000 a year.

The Brooklyn Tech High School teacher who pleaded guilty to showing lewd photographs of his genitals to seven female students and kidnapping one was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday as part of a plea deal.

Sean Shaynak briefly held his head down to collect his thoughts after Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Martin Murphy asked if he had anything to say .

"This is the most difficult time in a lot of people's lives. I'm sorry for any pain I caused. I doubt anybody will be satisfied with the results," Shaynak, 45, said.

One outraged dad said Shaynak deserved more time than he got, although most of the victims' parents were satisfied with the plea deal.

"As a parent, I want this guy to rot in jail for the rest of his life. I wanted him to get 25 years at least. He doesn't belong in society," said one of the victim's parents to the Daily News.

The parent’s name is being withheld to shield the identity of his daughter.

“You're not going to rehabilitate this guy. You're not going to stop him from wanting to be with young girls. ...I'm not happy. With good behavior, his five years won't be five. And he's already served a year. It's kind of a joke,” the parent said.

If Shaynak went to trial, he faced up to 25 years in prison on the top charge of kidnapping alone, officials said.

Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson said Shaynak’s plea bargain will spare the victims from have to give graphic testimony at trial.

Shaynak must also register as a sex offender and will never be allowed to teach again.

The judge also scolded Shaynak for declining to sign one of the seven orders of protection in favor of the victims.

"It doesn't matter if you do or do not sign, it was written up and you must abide by it. You're not that smart," said Murphy.

Shaynak, dubbed the “Sickest Perv Teacher Ever,” had admitted to a judge that from March 2012 to August 2013, he shared lewd photographs and had inappropriate conversations with seven female students — including abducting one across state lines to a nude beach.

The former aeronautics teacher at Brooklyn Tech High School pleaded guilty to nine of the 36 counts against him in exchange for five years in prison.
