Amanda Bynes is making some very serious allegations on her Twitter account.
The troubled actress, who many fear is suffering from a mental illness, has accused her father of being sexually inappropriate with her. In a series of tweets on Friday, Bynes said her father “verbally and physically” abused her as a child and tried to have sex with her.
A lawyer for her parents has denied the allegations. "My clients are heartbroken by these false accusations," the lawyer told TMZ. "Their older children are also horrified at the situation."

Bynes claims that she recorded her father on her cell phone in the hopes of catching his sexually inappropriate behavior on tape.

The 28-year-old star wrote that she plans to meet with a lawyer to get a restraining order against her father.
She concludes her tweets by asking that the public and the media stop calling her crazy.
“So call me what you want but please do not call me crazy or insane because that's a joke.”
Bynes tweets are the latest in a string of bizarre behavior that began last year and resumed again last month after she was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A police report from her arrest says she was under the influence of an unknown drug. Toxicology results from the arrest will not be available for several weeks.
The one-time actress received psychiatric treatment last year after authorities said she set a small fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. She later entered a rehab facility and was released after a lengthy stay. Her parents had been caring for her until their conservatorship ended, and she had been spotted taking fashion design courses at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Diego.
She has since come to New York City where she was spotted trying to shoplift earlier this week. She has also made claims that she is engaged to a 19-year-old bait seller in California.
Bynes first began acting in commercials at the age of 7 and was thrust into the limelight when she later became one of the stars of Nickelodeon’s comedy show “All That.” She then starred in Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” from 1999-2002. Since then, her acting career has waned, and her last major role was in 2010’s “Easy A,” which starred Emma Stone. Before that she appeared in films like “What a Girl Wants” and “Hairspray."
Bynes' older sister and a lawyer for the Bynes family did not immediately return FOX411’s requests for comment.
