OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A drug dealer who left a large bag of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms on a bus Saturday was arrested trying to claim the drugs from Intercity Transit's lost and found, according to the Olympia Police Department.

Intercity Transit found the suspicious bag on a night bus running from downtown Olympia to Evergreen State College and opened it to figure out who it belonged to. Inside, they reportedly found marijuana and magic mushrooms packaged for sale, small baggies and scales.

According to police, the bag also contained a wallet with $440 cash and multiple pieces of identification for 43-year-old Michael Henderson.

Later, Henderson reportedly showed up at the Transit Customer Service Desk to see if they had found his bag. Staff notified police, and Henderson was arrested on the spot.

According to police, Henderson originally claimed to not know how the drugs got into his bag before admitting it was time for a change in his life.

He was booked into Thurston County Jail for investigation of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

This was the second bag of magic mushrooms to inadvertently end up in the hands of officers this week.
