When it comes to HIV/AIDS, ignorance is almost just as dangerous as the disease itself.
So when a person wrote in to The 700 Club looking for travel advice, what Pat Robertson told them falls into that category.
A person wrote about how they were planning on taking a mission trip to Kenya, but their family was worried about their health because of Ebola.
Pat was pretty confident that no, this person isn't putting themselves at risk of getting Ebola. But AIDS, yeah almost definitely going to get AIDS.
We only say that because according to Pat, AIDS is everywhere! It's even on the towels! Whatever that means.
Ebola sounds like the least of our worries if the towels have AIDS.
Spreading misinformation is just as bad, if not worse, than spreading fear.
