An incredible UFO video, uploaded to YouTube on Nov. 3, shows a massive, unidentified flying object approaching unusually close to the International Space Station (ISS) as the live NASA camera feed rolls. After a moment, the UFO, which appears to go dark, fades from view just before the camera feed is cut off. It doesn't seem this floating object was known to be near the space station, otherwise the ISS would have been steered away from such a dangerous hazard. So, if NASA was unaware of such an anomaly, what is it?
The amazing video is split into two segments. The first shows the UFO stealthily approaching the ISS, growing in brightness all the while. That's not unusual, as the space station itself is brilliantly lit by the Sun. But, as the object draws closer (and suddenly stops its forward motion completely) it begins to darken and fade, as though switching off exterior lights. As it goes completely dark, the live camera feed catching the action is cut, with just a video slate showing and asking viewers to stand by until the live feed can be re-established.
The second part of the video isolates and magnifies the UFO, showing its oblong, non-aerodynamic shape and its strange configuration of illumination, which eventually goes completely dark, despite being brightly bathed by sunlight. The magnification doesn't help to identify the object, except to confirm it's not similar to any known aircraft or spaceship yet witnessed by anyone outside of the government's super-secret classified programs. In other words, if it's a stealth spaceship, the secret is out.
Which raises the question of why NASA would allow such a sight to be witnessed by anyone with an Internet connection and monitoring the High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experimental website, which the space agency maintains and provides to the public. Is it possible that NASA itself was unaware the object was stealthily approaching the ISS? Could the UFO be a spacecraft built by a nation with intentions of showing off its sophisticated, and potentially deadly, orbiting capabilities?
As it turns out, NASA is in the middle of a PR blitz, showing the down-to-Earth side of space travel and exploration. David Bowie has once again allowed a cover of his signature hit song, "2001: A Space Oddity" to be published by Chris Hadfield, an ISS astronaut who sang and played the tune on guitar while on an earlier mission. But, it seems, there's much more to the story.
