Hotel housekeeping staffs are a helpful, even if a bit uncomfortable, part of the hotel experience. Everyone loves coming home to a clean room, but the thought of a stranger being left alone with all of your personal possessions is a tad unnerving.

One skeptical hotel tenant set up a secret camera in his room recently to discover what the hotel’s housekeeping staff really did while he was out for the day. The answer he found is pretty unsettling.

The camera captured footage of his room cleaner rummaging through many of his personal belongings. First, the female worker takes a look at a package he’d received that day. She’s then seen on footage looking at his video games, laptops and tablet. She even tries repeatedly to log in to some of the gadgets. Once she’s done checking out the technology on hand, she takes a look in the man’s suitcase. After cleaning the room's bathroom and mirror, she again tries to access the man’s laptop.

The woman never takes anything, but her numerous attempts to log in to the man’s personal gadgets are concerning. Oh, and she makes his bed while wearing the same gloves she cleaned the toilet with.

Here’s the footage:

That's why I always leave housekeeping-brutality-sex-fantasy videos up on my laptop.

Or I use the safe. One or the other.

At the casino my wife and I stay at in Las Vegas, Security once asked us for permission to use a hidden camera, and baited the room. We never found out what happened, but we received a large fruit basket and a nice bottle of wine.

Were you and the wife in the room while the hidden camera was recording? :naughty:

I worked at an expensive mountain resort when I was younger...I have a million stories

The funniest event didn't involve me. A coworker was cleaning a 'stay' (guests are still there, light cleaning and replacement of items) Guy was so hungover he decided to take a bath...he fell asleep in the tub and the guests walked in him.....screams and shouts and great fun was had by all

One of my buddies had a room for a few days (we were housekeepers) where the guest left a substantial chunk of black hash on the counter. Buddy pinched some off it daily and you should have heard the guest's complaint call

he wouldn't say what had been taken....just that SOMETHING was removed.....our supervisor smoked and my friend told her what was up so she got clever with the guest each time he called and asked for specifics.....I guess the dude was really mad after the third call

my suggestion - wrap up your illicits and hide them you dumbfuck

the place I worked at was quite progressive/expensive for 1985. Lofts, two bathrooms, microwaves, satellite TV, dishwashers...each unit was like a little condo

I had a room one day where we ended up charging the guests after they left because it was....totaled. I can't describe what I walked into but when I pulled the bedsheets stained with shit, out of the toilet....that was the start :|

they were Americans coincidentally (we had people from all over the world) so you Yankees got a pretty bad rap after that fiasco

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon...

one of my favorite nights was when the hotel was at half capacity...we workers would choose a room on the other side of the resort and do whatever...

guests would leave ends of bottles of booze and we'd collect them...about 10 of us took a whole bunch of these hobo bottles of booze and went into a vacant room....lit a fire and watched Apocalypse Now on Satellite TV...it was a great time because our staff housing were one room cabins, two to a cabin and no one had a TV or anything really....our guest rooms were like palaces comparatively..

so we all got drunk, watched a great movie and I banged my g/f in a king sized bed. Then we cleaned the room, changed the sheets ... and no one was the wiser

Jesus! Did I SAY that? Or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me? I glanced over at my attorney, but he seemed oblivious...
