Two F-35C Lightning fighters are set for launch from the catapults of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Pacific Ocean last week. The F-35C, the Navy's newest fighter jet, began testing aboard the carrier on November 3, 2014. It is expected to be deployed to the fleet in 2018.

F35, the poster child for top down build us one thing that does everything and make it cost a hundred times what it should.

when I heard they were canceling the f22s because they said oh well we have f355s and they can take off vertically, I just laughed.

and then shook my head.

I hate F35s, but its good they've got a wet bar and a gold plated shitter in 'em  not even close to a match for an f22 though.
