The Arizona State University Police Department is investigating a strange, vaguely threatening note left on a student's car.

The university confirmed the investigation but didn't release details about the note. However, a photo of a note said to have been left on an ASU sorority girl's car has been circulating on various social media websites.

The presumed note in question, which you can see below, briefly rants about silkworms and gravity and is signed by "Sandwich."

The note also says, ". . . see you Wednesday night. The end of nights."

A spokesman for ASU PD didn't immediately return New Times' call, but we'll update this post when we hear back.

UPDATE 1:36 p.m.: ASU PD Sergeant Daniel Macias tells New Times the note was left at the student's off-campus residence, meaning Tempe PD is also involved in the investigation.

There are rumors circulating that some sort of threat has been made against students involved in sororities, but Macias says that's not the case. Additionally, police ask that if anyone knows who wrote the note or if they know about the existence of an actual threat, that they call the authorities.
