Texas– A man has released the image of an unknown animal roaming the woods of eastern Texas.

The eyewitness, who requested to remain anonymous, sent the picture Wednesday to Dale Boswell, a musician from Phenix City, Alabama.

The picture shows an ape-like brown animal with short hair and a long snout that resemble a baboon, holding what looks like some sort of medium-sized prey.

“It is possibly the first documented photo depicting a Bigfoot with dinner draped across his shoulder,” says the singer.

The animal, who is in a kneeling position over a bunch of dead tree leaves, doesn’t appear to notice the man’s presence.

“Is it burying the animal for later? Or is it digging it for a side dish?” Boswell wonders.

The song writer goes on to analyze the picture on his own YouTube video by digitally outlining a shape that covers about half of the animal’s body.

He wonders if the creature could be “Bigfoot” or even the “Dogman”, a cryptid reputed to live in the northwestern quadrant of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, although other sightings have been reported in other locations.

The picture generated mixed reactions from a few curious YouTube users.

“Jeans, short sleeve tee, deer or young moose with antlers draped over shoulders,” said Charlene Klemyk, a woman interested in the paranormal.

Others are not so sure that the sighting has an easy explanation. Bevan Pacholko believes the animal could be a Bigfoot holding a wild boar on its shoulders.

“With outlining can actually see the Bigfoot head above with two ears,” he wrote.

The time and exact location where the sighting took place has not yet been clarified.

Boswell, who wrote the highly acclaimed song titled My Soldier Prayer in 2007, did not immediately return a message seeking comments.
