Thanks y'all the pics of Kuala Lumpur were while traveling, and the driver wouldn't stop so I could get better pics lined up. Oh well. The pool was actually very nice, quite cool. It was a bit strange to see some of the women in full head to toe Islamic wrap getting in the pool.

It's actually very nice MT. Over all a pretty clean country, the people are very friendly, the food is great, and a fair amount of folks speak at least a bit of english (where I was used to be a tourist spot, popular with Aussies)

Looks nice and warm there. Getting tired of the snow and cold here...could go drink some exotic drinks out of coconut shell and watch the ocean.

It was very humid while I was there..in the high 80's daytime, 70's at night. By the time I go back, monsoon is supposed to be going on. Last year was the first winter I've spent any time at home in 5 years. I've been in the southern hemi otherwise. Strange to not have even our mild winters for years.

About a month ago my niece and her b/f went to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. They were on a small motor scooter and two locals did the old cut the purse straps thing and took her purse. All of their ID, passports, money and cameras gone :(

she had a hell of a time getting back home...she said they probably had close to a 1000 photos of everything from jungle ruins to monkeys eating at their bungalow with them...all gone :|
