I've been in storms where we've had 3 to 3-1/2 feet of snow all at once, but some places in the Buffalo area are now pushing 7 feet of freaking snow, I can't even imagine

No shit. I have dug out of 2.5 (I think is the highest) and that was a nightmare.

I've been complaining for years that I miss seeing snow. After looking at those pics, I've seen enough.

Reminds me of being a kid in Northern Saskatchewan. They only closed the school when the snow drift put the snow covering all the entrances and the windows!
Good luck and stay warm to anyone who has to endure this...
I'm thinking that wood stove for the basement is sounding like a better and better idea. I still have yet to get that generator hooked up in my garage, but then again hoss told me that one's nando's and he'd give me a different one :shrug: ee's got like fuggin 5 of em :lol:

I just bought a 18k BTU propane heater for just that reason.
nice...I've got gas into my house but...my furnace is a little shaky and I dont quite have the money to fuggin replace the damned thing, wood is cheap.

Worst I've been through was 4 feet drifts...and as a younger man it killed me shoveling out from that mess :|
can't imagine 6 and 7 feet of snow in that short of time span.
