NBC has halted production on Constantine, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

According to the site, the cast and crew were told last week that they'd end the season with just 13 episodes. Unlike Bad Judge and A to Z, however, the series could still get a second season.

The Warner Bros. drama, based on the popular comic book series Hellblazer, stars Matt Ryan as a demon hunter and master of the occult who struggles with his faith as he is haunted by the sins of his past. It'll continue to air on Fridays at 10/9c.

I really liked the movie much more than the series...not that the series is bad, just a little blah comparatively

I like this show. And while the movie was really cool, Keanu Reeves is not John Constantine. The guy playing him in the TV show is a lot closer to what the comic book version of John Constantine is.
