Fayetteville, N.C. — Two Fayetteville State University students were arrested and charged with murder Thursday in the Nov. 27 shooting death of Kizmel Kachae’ Norman in Plymouth, police said.
Oji Elon Wynn, 20, of 1262 Woodlawn Road in Roper, and Michael Dawane Jones, 20, of 3265 Soundside Road in Columbia, are each charged with murder and felony riot. Both remained in the Cumberland County jail Thursday under no bond.
Wynn and Jones are accused of shooting Norman, 20, outside an apartment on Somerset Drive in Plymouth, located in Washington County. Norman was walking home with friends on Thanksgiving Day when he was shot, according to news reports.
Both men were arrested at Fayetteville State early Thursday morning, said investigators, who added that more arrests are pending.
