Gregory Graf, 53, allegedly killed his stepdaughter, Jessica Padgett, 33, and filmed himself having sex with her corpse last month in Allen Township, Pennsylvania.
Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said that Graf told police that he wanted to have sex with Padgett and did so after he shot her in the back of the head on Nov. 21, noted Philly.com.
Graf was arrested on Nov. 26 after police found Padgett's body buried on the property where he lives with Padgett's mother.
Graf allegedly saved the sex footage on his personal computer, which was confiscated by police.
Oddly, the video has spared Graf the death penalty, if he is convicted. Graf was charged with abuse-of-corpse, a misdemeanor.
According to American Live Wire, if Graf had sex with Padgett before she was dead, then prosecutors could have added that felony charge to the murder charge and gotten the death penalty, per Pennsylvania law.
Police allegedly found large amounts of marijuana and pot-related paraphernalia in Graf's home.
