A Delta flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles stopped in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday because a first-class passenger was singing loudly and making references to Ferguson, Missouri.

When the passenger was asked to stop, he "made references to the recent Ferguson Missouri incident" and "stated he was being harassed because he was black," said an aviation police report.

The passenger reportedly went to the bathroom several times "and it became a concern to the flight crew," who diverted the flight to the Albuquerque International Sunport at about 6 p.m., noted NBC News.

The passenger was removed from the flight, but not charged with any crimes. He was allowed to fly to Los Angeles on Friday.

According to Mediaite.com, other passengers told aviation police that the passenger didn’t threaten anyone.
