I think the dog just killed it. It looked healthy and not bleeding, so the chance of her catching something would be slim. As for fleas or other parasites/insects... she is probably more at risk from her dog. Lice is species specific (if I remember correctly) so there is little chance there...

but with that being said - it's still F'ed up

I saw this on Tosh.0 this week. This is terrible! I don't care what kind of living thing it was. Have a little respect for the dead and teach that to your child.

Not exactly a kodak moment...I'm with Allsmiles. Teach the kid to respect the dead, even if it's "only" an animal. The dog killed it...camerman even said so at 1:11.
