Now this is our kind of landmark.

This is the Nelson’s Column burger, and as you can see, it’s a rather impressive erection.

At a foot tall, it certainly lives up to its name, contains a staggering 10,500 calories and costs a whopping £30.

So what exactly are we dealing with here?

Well, it contains…
– Three 8oz beefburgers
– Five super-sized onion rings
– Lashings of BBQ sauce
– Twelve rashers of streaky bacon
– Six slices of mature cheddar
– Two brioche buns smothered in home-made mayonnaise
– One iceberg lettuce
– One giant beef tomato

And because that’s not enough food to sink a small battalion of ships with, it comes with a pound of chips, 500g or coleslaw and four gherkins.
