Thailand’s military government is warning women against posting “underboob” selfie photos – or else they could face up to five years in jail.

The social media trend, in which women post pictures exposing the lower half of their breasts, runs afoul of Thailand’s 2007 Computer Crimes Act, which bans "any obscene computer data which is accessible to the public,” according to Reuters.

"When people take these 'underboob selfies' no one can see their faces," culture ministry spokesman Anandha Chouchoti told Reuters. "So it's like, we don't know who these belong to, and it encourages others to do the same.”

The ministry said offenders face up to five years in jail, but would not disclose how it would identify culprits.
