I aint even getting into this one.

that land will be nice and cheap for someone, someday.

I'll bet the billionaire that buys it will get a similarly good deal as the dudes that bought the 911 steel. (only they probably wont have to worry about it being irradiated)

My Aunt lives in that town. 60% of the water used is for agriculture. A huge majority is to grow alfalfa, which requires a ton of water and they turn around and sell the shit out of state

there has been no water issues here since the friant dam was built in the 1940s.

now within a few short years, the water's all gone?

aspects of this were attempted to be addressed https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/hr1837/text but of course that bill died in committee...now why did someone feel the need to bring such a bill up in the first place? so someone basically tried codifying it in law that these water sources would maintain a guaranteed level, specified that water conservation wrt a species esp no native could not be used as an excuse to limit water usage by those that fell under the umbrella of provided areas from these waters.

so basically a lawmaker or two tried to put down a bill to make sure this didnt happen, ande of course, since harry reid had complete control over what bills were voted on in the senate, this is another one that never saw the light of day, but passed the house.

Politicians not stopping the water bottling and fracking is tantamount to pandas not fucking to save their own species.

I could not care less about Kommiefornia and the people in it, sans forum members that is.

Porky, you really should look into moving ;)
