A new documentary, called When Ghosts Attack, hears stories from people who believe they have been the victim of terrifying paranormal activity.
‘All of a sudden we heard a huge crash downstairs in the kitchen,’ says a frightened woman.
‘My husband dashed down the stairs – full speed, thinking he was going to catch someone in our kitchen.

‘He was stopped dead in his tracks, in the doorway. All the chairs were laying on their backs all around the table.
‘I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. My husband checked the front door and the porch door – both deadbolts were in place so no-one could have come in.’
She added: ‘The feeling I had was that whatever was in that house wanted us out. And it was getting more serious. It meant it.’
