A "leaked" photograph that claimed to reveal a new flavour of Cadbury chocolate, Vegemite, circulated online more than a month ago, but most thought it was a joke.
It wasn't. Cadbury Australia have announced the new flavour will be in Australian stores this June, to both the delight and disgust of chocolate eaters.
"It's surprisingly delicious" states a Cadbury video, shared on their Twitter account on Thursday.

Cadbury have no plans to release the flavour in New Zealand at this point, so you'll have to get your friends across the ditch to bring it over next time they visit.
Perhaps a Marmite version may appeal more to New Zealand consumers?
In an email to goodfood.com.au, Cadbury Australia described the chocolate bar as being filled with caramel with a hint of Vegemite taste, similar to salted caramel, rather than filled entirely with the salty, yeasty spread." (Well that's a relief.)
"Alongside the Vegemite filling, the centre-fill of the product is smooth flowing caramel," the spokesman said.
Reaction to the announcement has been mixed, ranging from excitement to actual fear:
