So, what are people's preferences when buying hot dogs? Do you buy just the 'meat' hot dogs (which are usually chicken and pork dogs) or do you get the all-beef hot dogs? Do you buy the cheap stuff or do you get a premium brand? I've noticed that even the mid-range priced hot dogs have become rather expensive, especially the all-beef variety.

I go to the butcher near me and buy from them, and they are amazing. All beef btw.

I bought some really good ones over the weekend. They were Boars Head brand. I like to split them halfway through and grill them and then add some sharp cheese to the center.

All beef. Normally Ballpark or Hebrew National, although when my family's having a cookout, we go to the local butcher and get theirs.

Depends on the use, but my favorite one are the big thick Daisy brand. It's not even the same product as the skinny little normal commercial brands.

We get these yummy all beef ones with veins of cheese within....

I like all beef, preferably angus. I crave the shit out of them at times and can't have them often enough, but then I go years without eating them. Just went to a cookout the other day where we cooked them over and open fire on a stick. Delicious.
