So not only is Joe Manganiello perfect, but he has no objections to being objectified…at all.
The Magic Mike XXL actor covers the Special Summer Style Issue of Details, where he’s featured posing in a wet shirt. Luckily for us, he doesn’t mind being seen as eye candy.
Why would I? I don’t think men care why women like them, as long as they do. That’s the point of the nerd in high school who makes it big. You work that hard for a reason. You want to have access to the dating pool.
But according to his co-star Channing Tatum, the actor is more than just big muscles.
Everybody sees Joe as the physical specimen he is — you can’t miss that. Unfortunately, that means people assume that he has no other attributes or skills until he proves it to them. But one of my favorite things about Joe is that he doesn’t feel the need to prove himself to anyone.

Manganiello basically embraces the fact that his body is insane and doesn’t mind being seen as a sex symbol. After all, he works hard to have the body he has. He does admit to having pushed himself to the limit while shooting Magic Mike XXL.
Injuries aside, the 37-year-old knows he’s one lucky guy — besides the fact that he’s engaged to Sofia Vergara. “My life’s pretty damn good,” he says, “and if working out had anything to do with affording me the type of life I have, then bring on more.”
