From one diva to another: I love your music and I listen to it while painting — topless.
Pop princess Britney Spears revealed that painting while topless was one of her hobbies and most recently was working on her art skills while listening to none other than the other Las Vegas diva Mariah Carey.
During an interview Thursday with Australia’s “Dan & Maz Show,” Spears was asked if she and Carey have been hanging out now that the “Infinity” singer started her Las Vegas residency.
“I haven’t, actually,” Spears, 33, replied. “Our paths just haven’t crossed.”
She then went on: “I love Mariah Carey. Still to this day, I was painting in my room. I have an art room, and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff. I bought her new Greatest Hits, and her new ‘Infinity’ record yesterday, and I was just there with my top off, just like painting and doing all this artsy fartsy stuff.”
“I love her. I just love her voice,” Spears added.
When prompted to talk more about why she walks around without a top while painting, Spears explained, “In my art room, that’s my place. It’s the best.”
Carey, 45, began her Las Vegas residency last month at Caesars Palace's Colisseum, while Spears plays at The AXIS auditorium at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino – the same location another Latina diva – JLo – will be doing her residency next year.
