James and Lisa Price put up an unusual sign outside her house in Farmers Branch, Texas, on August 7. The sign says: "House for sale by owner because my neighbor's a douchebag!"
Lisa claims that her neighbor has put up cameras to spy into her family's backyard, complained to city officials about her dogs and got her hit with a $121 ticket for her barking canines.
“He knew we had dogs when he moved in,” Lisa told CBS Dallas-Fort Worth.
After the Prices got the dog fine in the mail, their sign went up.
The neighbor is reportedly out of town, but most of the other neighbors support the sign.
Lisa adds that the police and a city council member asked her to take the sign down, but it's staying up for now.
James claims that the neighbor wants him and his wife to keep their dogs inside until 9 a.m.
"We're trying to keep them in until 8," James told the Houston Chronicle. "I think the city ordinance says 7."
"He just needs to back off a little bit about the dogs," James added. "He's being ridiculous. Now I'd like him to pay my $121 fine. All he had to do was come over [to talk to us], but he chose not to do that."
