A 67-year-old man is accused of approaching a teenage girl at a lemonade stand outside her home in Macomb County and offering her money for sex.

Pal Rakaj of Macomb Township was arraigned in the 41A District Court of Shelby Township on a charge of accosting, enticing or soliciting a child for immoral purposes, which is a 4-year felony. Rakaj, who was ordered to wear a GPS tether, posted a $100,000 surety bond Saturday.

Deputies responded to the 47000 block of Blueridge Street on Friday after they received a 911 call stating that a man tried to lure a 14-year-old girl in his van.

The girl was in the driveway of a home selling lemonade when Rakaj pulled up in a white Chrysler Town & Country minivan, according to a news release from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

Rakaj exited his van and then approached the girl, offering her money in exchange for a sexual act.

A 38-year-old Shelby Township man, who was in the vicinity because of a subdivision-wide garage-sale, saw the incident and intervened, blocking Rakaj's minvan and preventing him from driving away. The man later told deputies he intervened because he "felt something wasn't right," according to the release.

The girl ran to her home and reported the incident to her mother, who then called 911.

Rakaj will return to court at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 8.
