"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" presented another segment of its “Lie Witness News” on Sept. 8, which asked Americans to name one member of Congress. Not one person was able to do so (video below).

After people were stumped by this question, the late night show offered to look up their congressional representative, all of which included fake ones: Video game character Ash Ketchum, daytime actress Susan Lucci, ex-basketball player Karl Malone, former U.S. President Grover Cleveland (who died in 1908) and Neville Longbottom, a character from the "Harry Potter" series, reports Time.

The folks on the street then sent a sincere message to their fake representatives.

"Representative Susan Lucci, do a better job at getting people higher pay with their jobs and do a better job with the schools," one man stated.

“Representative Neville Longbottom, please bring the jobs back to the U.S., support our farmers and our small businessmen,” a woman said to the camera.

“Ash Ketchum ... I hope you vote for Donald Trump, we’re looking for a change in the country, so hopefully Donald Trump will bring us something,” another man opined, noted Mediaite.com.
