This puppy was left in such a horrific condition that vets were unable to tell what breed she was.
Her owner, Michelle Brown, 28, dumped it in a playground on the Hazel Farm Estate in Totton, Hampshire.
Seven-month-old Narla was discovered wrapped in a black bin liner inside a cardboard box and struggling to breathe.
The puppy, thought to be a Staffie-cross, had been so hungry she had started to eat the box.

Sadly vets were forced to put Narla down.
But the authorities tracked down Brown through the dog’s microchip.
Brown from Totton told inspectors that she thought the dog was dead and had buried her in the garden.
However she later admitted mistreating the animal.
The mum-of-three told the court she is a full time carer for her partner who has cerebral palsy and battles severe depression, which contributed to her serious neglect of the new pet.
She has now been banned from keeping animals indefinitely, was handed a 12 week suspended sentence and ordered to pay £630.
