NASA continues to play coy with what those bright lights on the dwarf planet Ceres could be, but the latest batch of new photos from the Dawn spacecraft may have given us something more interesting to ponder … a structure that appears to be a nearly-four-mile high pyramid. Meanwhile, a photo of the Moon’s surface taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter shows something that looks like the long-rumored super-secret spy plane know as the TR-3 Black Manta. What’s that doing on the Moon?
The photo of the Ceres pyramid was taken on June 6 when Dawn was orbiting at about 2,700 miles above the dwarf. NASA had no problem offering details on the pyramid, saying it is 18 km (11 miles) wide and 6.3 km (3.9) miles) high. If it’s a pyramid, the builders were pretty big too since the Great Pyramid of Giza is only 139 meters (456 ft.) high. Other than pyramid, mountain or giant pile of salt, what other choices might NASA offer on its next “What do you think this is?” poll?

Is this a TR-3 spy plane parked in a lunar crater?
The image on the Moon isn’t quite as sharp but is definitely more mysterious and sinister. It shows a triangular form in a crater that resembles what many believe to be the flying-wing shape of the TR-3 Black Manta reconnaissance plane that has often been blamed for triangular UFO sightings and was rumored to have been used in the first Gulf War.

If it really is a photo of a TR-3 Black Manta, what is the plane doing on the Moon and how did it get there? Don’t ask the Air Force because it denies the plane exists. And don’t ask NASA because it denies anything out of the ordinary exists on the Moon and is busy dealing with proving to Russia we even went there.
The photo from the Moon is hazily interesting while the one from Ceres is intriguing. What do you think they are?
