An Omaha, Nebraska, couple admitted to kidnapping, torturing and raping a woman whose boyfriend reportedly owed them money.
Ronald Ford, 33, and Shavontae Green, 26, admitted to kidnapping, assault and other charges for the January attack of a woman whose boyfriend had not paid them the right amount for a laptop computer, Omaha.com reports.
In January, Ford and Green drove to the house of the boyfriend but he wasn't home, according to Deputy Douglas County Attorney Molly Keane. They did, however, find the man's 38-year-old girlfriend; they kidnapped her and brought her back to their home.
There, the victim was forced to perform a sex act on Ford. The couple also burned the victim with a cigarette, whipped her with a chain and sodomized her with a table leg. The couple then burned the woman with boiling water and bleached her genitals.
They were arrested at their home after the victim’s boyfriend reported her missing.
Ford and Green could face 170 years and 75 years in prison respectively. The couple will be sentenced in November.
