Apparently it costs a pretty penny to look like Princess Leia.
"Slave Leia's" bikini fetched an impressive $96,000 in the "Profiles of History" online auction on Friday. It was one of the most highly anticipated items included in the event, which featured a number of high-profile pieces of movie memorabilia.
Carrie Fisher famously donned the sexy metal outfit in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
According to CNN, bidding opened on Thursday at $80,000 before it sold on Friday.
The winner, who was not named, also received the collar, several chain links and a letter of authenticity provided by Industrial Light and Magic designer Richard Miller.
Despite the sky-high price of the costume, it was not the most expensive item to sell. A miniature model of Leia's "Blockade Runner," the first spacecraft seen in the Star Wars franchise, sold for $450,000 – having doubled it's opening price of $200,000. The sale set the record sale for any Star Wars artifact in the auction.
Fisher will reprise her role in the seventh installment of the series, Star Wars: Force Awakens, in theaters Dec. 18.
