:shock: I vaguely remember the Italian guy with the barnet getting his head run over......... Simoncelli was it? He was dead before the medics had a chance to get him on a stretcher and drop him. Has there been deaths since that? :-k

yup, that was simoncelli, it also happened to shoya tomizawa in '10 in the moto2 feeder series (also got run over by 2 bikes) and daijiro kato in '03. No one has died since simoncelli in '11

Just watched the Simoncelli one on youtube, Rossi must've felt fucking awful after that :(

The medic then checks out the chap who fell over lifting the player before looking in the player's direction.

for some reason this reminds me of the huge shitshow that was the Ayatollah Khomeini's funeral in Iran.

picture a massive crowded square, thousands yelling and fighting and crowding around the funeral procession.....then they dump him out of the coffin going down some stairs :lol:
