An 11-year-old boy has lost his foot after his mother allegedly pushed him in front of a moving train.

The youngster, who has not been named, was trapped between two carriages at a railway station in Hamburg on Sunday, reports Bild.

We had a guy die here yesterday after getting out in front of one of our LRT's (above ground trains)

He wasn't trying to end his life, no one pushed him, he just thought he could beat the train...
