Alien chasers are claiming another coup after "conclusive evidence" of a mutant monster 3-metre mouse was "found" prowling the Martian surface, presumably sniffing out space cheese.
The milestone discovery was made by YouTube video maker Jason Hunter, who is known for scouring pictures of Mars placed online by NASA after its Curiosity rover droid has beamed them back to Earth.
The spot, as the researchers call them, has impressed UFO supremo Scott C Waring, who posted the video to his blog UFO Sightings Daily.

Mr Waring said: "Jason Hunter has a skill for finding the unusual and a giant rodent on Mars is just that.
"It's impossible, and yet here it is, in plain view of the rover.
"Yet, this strangely-shaped mouse rock has not been investigated by the rover, or if it has, we the public, won't know about it.
"When you see a three meter mouse on Mars, you would probably at least take a second look at it."
He did consider it may not be alive and could even be a statue, presumably to the ones that are alive, or a home in the shape of a rodent (as you do).
The rover, a four-wheel-drive, remote controlled robot is exploring Mars for the US space agency, testing samples of the surface and sending back pictures.
Alien hunters have spotted an array of objects or life forms in and among the pictures, which they claim NASA denies the existence of.

Some of the latest finds are a "live bear", alien beings, fossils, homes and even a wet patch.
Unfortunately, NASA refuses to comment on individual discoveries, but has blamed the array of anomalies on pareidolia - a phenomenon that means the brain tricks they eye into seeing familiar objects or shapes in patterns and textures - meaning the mouse would be just an odd-shaped rock.
Mr Waring added: "We have found a lizard, a rat and a HD photo of a squirrel on Mars, so a giant mouse is really no surprise. You need to remember, its the details that create the big picture. Ask yourself why are these details being overlooked by NASA?"
