Dutch courage! Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she was so nervous about her first-ever sex scene with married-actor Chris Pratt that she decided the only way she could get through it was to be really drunk!
The Oscar winner, 25, revealed she found the entire experience (which was part of her upcoming sci-fi movie Passengers) totally "bizarre" and hated the thought of kissing a man who was married to someone else.
“Everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong. It’s just a bizarre experience,” she told The Hollywood Reporter during the annual Actress Roundtable. “It’s really weird.”
She opted to get "really really drunk," but admits in the end that choice probably only made matters worse.
“It led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’” she revealed. “He was married, and it was going to be my first time kissing a married man and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach."
“I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that," she went on. "So I called my mom and I was like, ‘Will you just tell me it’s okay?’ I was just very vulnerable. That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been," she admitted.
