Ala. — A woman in northern Alabama believes she has captured the sounds of a Bigfoot creature.
The woman, who provided a full name but asked to remain anonymous, told Cryptozoology News the sounds were captured when she left her digital voice recorder in the woods near her property overnight late last month.
“I got this one vocal,” she says. “You don’t even need to have headphones on to hear it,” she continued.
The 10-second audio clip contains the sounds of endemic nocturnal insects interrupted by a howl that resembles a primate’s.

The Alabaman said the audio had not been unadulterated, which she proved on a submitted video, as it didn’t need any digital enhancements.
Coyotes, wolves and cougars make sounds that are often misidentified by people, but the woman behind the audio says she knows the local wildlife and that these sounds are nothing like it.
Some Bigfoot researchers believe the cryptids are capable of mimicking other animals and frequently adopt “donkey sounds”.
Last August, a Missouri investigator dedicated to finding Sasquatch sounds released an audio file containing “whoop vocals” mixed with “donkey sounds”.
“They almost seemed to be an alarm,” the man told Cryptozoology News.
Many investigators believe the use of cameras are a hindrance to the discovery of Bigfoot.
Such is the case of the Australian man in charge of the Yowie Listening Project, who believes the creature to be so elusive that the only possible way to capture evidence of its existence is be to use an audio recorder.
“I can’t stress how highly elusive these creatures are. They won’t dance for apples under an IR light,” the man, looking for anonymity, told Cryptozoology News last February.
