It's BS that they read on the internet (so it must be true,right?) that makes them believe that by stating that they no longer have to abide by the laws of the U.S. I don't recall the exact details of it but it's not something that can really be used.

And the "Article of Confederation" she cites? It was repealed in the 1700's by the U.S. Constitution. Somebody read a book but didn't read it cover-to-cover...
