SYRACUSE, NY-- A father and his son are facing charges for allegedly stealing chicken wings from the restaurant where they worked and reselling them at a lower price.
Onondaga County Sheriff's Office says Paul Rojek, 56, and his son Joshua Rojek, 33, both of Syracuse, are accused of placing chicken wing orders through the restaurant's wholesaler, then reselling them on the street, or other restaurants, at a discounted price.
Police say the restaurant, Twin Trees Too, was billed approximately $41,000 for the chicken wing orders between February and November 21 of this year.
Both Rojeks are also accused of destroying the receipts for those orders.
They are charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records. They were arraigned in court. The judge set their bail at $2,500.
