A Florida family’s Christmas card is getting mixed reviews on the Internet.
The photo shows Rachel Yoshida, her older sister Natalie Yoshida and their mother wearing shirts that say “HO,” WJW reported. The father is seen sitting in front of them with a shirt that says “Chillin’ with my ho’s.”
The family Christmas card was posted on Imgur and Reddit on Dec. 15. It garnered more than 2 million views, and the reviews are split.
“As a father of three goofy girls and a fun wife, this needs more upvotes,” one person commented.
“Well his daughters are super hot but this is kind of creepy,” wrote another.
Another user, who claims to have just recently entered fatherhood, gave his perspective.
“As a new father, I can’t imagine a situation when I’d call her a ho,” he wrote.
Natalie said she came up with the idea for the photo a few months ago. She did not expect her family to “be so willing” to participate.
“My mom agreed immediately,” she told BuzzFeed News. “My dad never actually agreed or disagreed. He’s a great sport.”
Despite some negative feedback on social media, Natalie said everyone who knows the family in real life loves the card.
“All of our immediate friends understand our humor so they think it’s hilarious,” she said. “Not one person who knows us in real life has ‘hated.’ Everyone who is ‘hating’ is seeking offense in an obvious joke.”
