A pensioner has suffocated to death after getting stuck in her wardrobe while hunting for biscuits.
The unnamed 84-year-old was searching for the biscuits after her son hid them from her in the wardrobe in Povoletto, north east Italy.
The pensioner’s son had hidden the biscuits to try and improve his mother’s diet because she suffered from diabetes, according to Udine Today.
But it proved fatal after she went on the hunt around her house.
She got stuck in the wardrobe and suffocated as the clothes inside pressed against her body weight.
She had to be removed by firefighters.
