his disquieting footage shows what happened when a children's paddling pool had an unwelcome visitor - a DEADLY spider .

The footage has emerged of three children playing in their new water toy - and screaming at the top of their lungs when they spot a deadly funnel web spider in there too.

The video, filmed on January 2 in New South Wales, Australia, reveals a very human reaction to their fun and games being interrupted by the highly poisonous spider.

The filmer later wrote online: "Thankfully, the children were able to alert their father who was able to remove it and send it to the Australian Reptile Park.

"[There] the funnel webs are milked for their venom which is then processed into anti-venom for any unfortunates who are actually bitten."

The spiders have large, powerful fangs which are capable of penetrating fingernails and soft shoes.

If bitten, puncture marks and local bleeding are usually visible, and symptoms such as goosebumps, sweating, tingling and a rise in blood pressure will soon be seen.
