JANUARY 20--Upset at how long their Burger King drive-thru order was taking, two men left their vehicle and stormed the Florida restaurant, where they argued with a worker and threw items around the eatery before punching an employee in the face as he dialed 911 to summon help, according to a police report.

The suspects were in a Ford Ranger around 7:20 PM Saturday when, cops say, they “became upset about how long their order was taking.” Upon entering the Burger King, the duo began arguing “over the food” with worker Bret Swain, 46.

One suspect “jumped the counter” and grabbed items that he then threw around the restaurant, cops noted. When the pair exited the Burger King in Bradenton, Swain followed them outside while he called police.

At one point, one of the suspects punched Swain in the jaw, resulting in the worker dropping his phone. Swain’s assailant “picked up the phone and threw it, breaking it,” cops reported.

The men then fled the restaurant (seen below) in their pickup truck. A subsequent police canvass for the vehicle and the suspects came up empty. If apprehended, the pair will face misdemeanor battery and criminal mischief charges.

Cops, who are seeking Burger King surveillance footage, did not detail which items from the restaurant’s menu were ordered by the impatient, unruly duo.

The Burger Kings around here are painfully slow considering they are supposed to be 'fast food'
