View Full Version : Christmas decorations a month after Christmas

A few blocks down the street from my house, there is still one house that has a yard full of Christmas decorations plus the whole outside of their house is still covered as well....and they still turn them on and light them up at night. And it was a beautiful weekend in Denver this past weekend (plus we've had some good weekends prior to this weekend), there's no excuse for the decorations to still be up.

I think that at this point, it should be perfectly legal to burn their house down.

You're up and out of the house early enough for no one to notice... Why don't you type up an anonymous "dear neighbor" letter and put it in their mailbox?

Because some people need to be made an example of :hand:

Unless they have a dying child, or dad's a soldier in a far off land who wanted to be home for Christmas (and will be home damned soon) or some other pressing reason for having the decorations up, I think that these people need to go work at the Christmas store (yes, I've seen one in Vancouver - all Christmas, All. The. Time.

Our strata can fine you if you have any Christmas decorations up after January 31st, though I don't think they've enforced this ever.
[edit] I'm one to talk...will have to edit my freakin' signature...
